(PSP), backed by the VeriSign’s internet security infrastructure. All
information is collected and encrypted on a secure server.
Unlike many sites who try to cut costs by using SSL, storing
card information on their un-secure computers and processing
the cards manually using a PDQ card terminal, Protx provides
a high street bank approved, (such as LloydsTSB Cardnet) secure
environment to take and process payment on behalf of online merchants.
When you proceed to our payment page, you can see that the pages
are secure because the address in the address bar changes from
being http:// to https://. You
will also see a padlock symbol or key in the bottom bar of your
browser.
This also means that all details are confidential while input
on the Internet and stay confidential when passed to the PSP.
The PSP is the only person/system which see your card details
and we only reference your card using your order number. Even
if we do a refund to you, we do not physically see your card
details.
As an extra security measure, your credit
card details will not be retained on our secure servers,
this why you must re-enter your card details each time you
